We have the following improvements in this release:
- Fixed resolution issues that happened on Chromebook when you switch into or out of full screen, using full screen button (F4).
- Added the ability to save your user name and password from the Logon dialog when you connect. This lets you easily update information for an existing user account.
Note: You can manage your saved accounts in the settings for the app, which you access from the home screen.
What's new in 8.1.52
We have improvements to keyboard input:
- The input language in the remote session is synchronized with your local on-screen keyboard at launch of a new connection.
- You might need to sign out (and not simply disconnect) from your remote session and connect back to it to sync the input language.
- Keyboard shortcuts now work for most non-English keyboards.
- Keyboard input can be recognized by apps that only accept scancode, such as VMware Remote Console.
Note: You may turn off sending text in scancode under Settings > General in the app.
What's new in 8.1.51
- When you enter your user name and password, you can now press ENTER to proceed. (Instead of having to click save or connect.)
- You can scroll the keyboard extension when working in portrait mode. Just tap it and then swipe to get to all the keys.

- The app now requests permissions at runtime instead of installation time (Android 6.0+). If you need to use files on your device while in the remote desktop session, be sure to grant the app access to your local storage.
Note: For desktop connections you can enable redirection of local storage in the additional options. For published apps and desktops your admin applies the policies for redirection.
